WinS ILE 2016

In 2016, the 5th WASH in Schools (Wins) International Learning Exchange (ILE) held in Jakarta, Indonesia provided the very first and crucial opportunity to discuss implications for national monitoring system of the core questions and indicators for monitoring WASH in Schools in the Sustainable Development Goals. The global monitoring system was released by the UNICEF/WHO Joint Monitoring Programme for Water and Sanitation few days before the 5th WinS ILE.

The event produced an Outcome Document that serves as a guide for future work towards universal access to WinS as well as Conference Report that provided a detailed coverage of all sessions and discussions.
