1st ILE Africa Thematic Session on WinS Monitoring and Evaluation

This presentation was used in of the thematic session of the first African WinS ILE on WinS Monitoring and Evaluation.

The session provided guidance on how to efficiently monitor WASH implementation in schools to support SDG reporting and guide improvements in inclusive service provision. The session covered various approaches to collecting, analyzing and reporting the coverage of basic and inclusive WASH services in schools, drawing from global guidance and experiences in Africa and Asia.

Different helpful tools such as dashboards and excel-based data collection tools for monitoring were introduced. Additionally, budgeting and financing aspects related to WASH in schools monitoring were also showcased.
